Offering birthing center, home, and hospital birth support
A doula is a professional support person with the training and knowledge to help families through the journey of pregnancy and childbirth. They offer non-judgmental support, evidence-based education help, a listening ear, hands-on comfort support during birth, and so much more!
The meaning of the word doula is “a woman who serves.” The birthing experience has an everlasting impact and a life changing effect on a mother, and a doula is there to help make sure they do not go through it alone!
I would love to be a part of your journey to motherhood! I provide support at birthing centers, homes, and hospitals.
My post-hiring services include:
- Birth plan visit: I will meet with you to discuss your ideal birth experience, help you develop a written plan, and address any birth-related questions and concerns.
- On call service: once you reach 37 weeks, I will be available for contact 24/7 and will not leave a 2 hour radius of your birth location.
- Birth support: during active labor, I will come to your birth location (home, hospital, or birthing center) and be your acting doula throughout your labor and birth.
- Immediate after birth support: I will stay up to 90 minutes after your baby is born to provide whatever support you may need.
- Postpartum visit: I will provide one home visit during the first 6 weeks of your postpartum journey.
Doula support: $800
